Designs by Delights is located in Austin, Texas. We started our business in 1990 making homemade cakes for our friends. We have never really advertised - word of mouth spread our reputation throughout our community. We now have hundreds of clients who have come to expect our spectacular cakes for all of their special events. We have provided birthday cakes year after year for children's birthdays, and the kids now demand our cakes every year. We have created wedding cakes to serve 50 to 400.
While working with brides to design their special wedding cake, we found that we could help with other wedding needs - custom cake toppers, albums, custom wine glasses and champagne flutes, unity candles and much more (Wedding Accessories). And after fifteen years, our staff possesses the most important aspect in wedding planning - EXPERIENCE! We even offer consulting and cosmetics by Mary Kay to pamper the bride and her entourage.
Five years ago, we added Gift Baskets to our list of products. We have shipped hundreds of baskets all over the country. Companies have sent our baskets to clients to say "Thanks" for their patronage. The companies report that this is a great way to generate repeat business. We have sent baskets as Christmas presents, Valentine's day, as condolences, as congratulations and as "Thinking of You" messages. Our baskets are colorful, creative and unique.

We design and produce gift baskets for every occasion. Holidays, birthdays, condolences, congratulations, thanks - whatever the reason, our baskets are custom designed to send the message and sentiment you want. Prices for our baskets start at $45.00, but because each basket is custom designed to fit your needs, the price is determined by what you choose to include. We will make suggestions and work with you to create the perfect basket for your needs and budget. Our pledge is to honor the recipient with a gift given from the heart - Yours!
We can help you with those special touches that make your wedding and reception memorable for you and your guests. Customized Bride's bouquets, Attendants' and Parents' corsages and/or boutonnières and hall decorations all coordinated to your wedding theme. A custom cake topper rather than the standard plastic couple adds grace and beauty to your cake. A special pair of wine glasses or champagne flutes with the new couple's monogram and color coordinated accents add sophistication to your reception. Unity candles color coordinated to the wedding theme offer best wishes for a long, happy life together. A photo album with a custom made cover provides long term care for those special photos of your wedding. We can create all of these for you. Our custom Photo Albums provide a unique way to store precious photos. Each album is padded and covered with cloth - choose one of ours or request a 'theme' design. Pages are standard 3-ring binder type with plastic covers to protect the photos. Each one can be designed with a cameo on the front in which you can put a special picture as an introduction to the goodies inside. Great for gifts!
